All Associates, regardless of rank, are expected to abide with the following:

We offer six grades of membership, two of which are for veterans of the regular and reserve armed forces.

The titles 'Associate' and 'Dame/Knight Harbinger' have been used by the Primrose League for over 100 years

A Knight Harbinger was an officer in the Royal Household until the mid 19th century. In this sense, the term is now obsolete. Knight Harbingers were appointed by Lord Chamberlin's warrant. Their role was to go ahead of the Royal Court, when on progress, to announce the its forthcoming arrival ensure that suitable arrangements were made to accommodate the King or Queen and their entourage. A Knight Harbinger is a messenger and forerunner of something and, for that reason, the rank was adopted by the League in 1883. Primrose League Knights and Dames Harbinger represent the League and great things to come.

We are presently looking at options for a specific badge/regalia that will be available to Knights and Dames Harbinger.

Supporter of The League	This category does not confer full membership or rights of membership, but does demonstrate support of our aims and objects. In doing so it is a valuable contribution to those aims and objects. Supporters are automatically subscribed to the Primrose League Gazette but may opt out.	Free
Youth Associate	For people aged 20 and under. You will be registered as a member of the Primrose League at the rank of Youth Associate and so will contribute importantly to building up the campaign's weight of numbers and influence: You will be invited to stand for election to the Youth Division Committee of the Primrose League when it is formed. You will receive a Certificate of Associateship of the Youth Division of the Primrose League and a primrose lapel pin if you have provided your Royal Mail postal address (normally within 6 weeks, quite possibly much sooner). You will be subscribed to the Primrose League Gazette and receive regular updates and notification of upcoming events, unless you choose to opt out.	£12
Associate	For people aged 21 and above. You will be registered as a member of the Primrose League at the rank of Associate and so will contribute importantly to building up the campaign's weight of numbers and influence: You will receive a Certificate of Associateship of the Primrose League and a primrose lapel pin if you have provided your Royal Mail postal address (normally within 6 weeks, quite possibly much sooner). You will be subscribed to the Primrose League Gazette and receive regular updates and notification of upcoming events, unless you choose to opt out.	£18
Veteran Associate	You will be registered as a member of the Veteran's Division of Primrose League at the rank of Veteran Associate. You will receive a Certificate of Veteran Associateship of the Primrose League and a primrose lapel pin if you have provided your Royal Mail postal address (normally within 6 weeks, quite possibly much sooner). You will receive invitations to exclusive Veterans Division events. Other benefits are as for Associateship.	£16
Dame/Knight Harbinger	You will be registered as a member of the Primrose League in the rank of Dame or Knight Harbinger. You will receive a Certificate of Knighthood in the Primrose League and a primrose lapel pin if you have provided your Royal Mail postal address (normally within 6 weeks, quite possibly much sooner). Other benefits are as for Associateship, plus invitations to exclusive Dames/Knights only events.	£55
Veteran Dame/Knight Harbinger	You will be registered as a member of the Dame or Knight of the Veteran's Division of Primrose League, in the rank of Dame or Knight Veteran. You will receive a Certificate of Knighthood in the Primrose League and a primrose lapel pin if you have provided your Royal Mail postal address (normally within 6 weeks, quite possibly much sooner). As for Dame/Knight Harbinger, plus: - membership of the Primrose League Veterans Division - invitations to exclusive Veteran's Division events - invitations to exclusive Veteran Dame/Knight events	£45
